SANY Silicon Energy Signs Cooperation Framework Agreement with Huaneng Renewables

On March 5th, China Huaneng Renewables Corporation Limited and SANY Silicon Energy signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Changsha. Wang Lijun, Chairman of Huaneng Renewables, Li Bo and Lv Dongying, Deputy General Managers, as well as Dai Qinghua, Director of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Silicon Energy, Huang Bin, Director of New Energy Development at SANY Silicon Energy, and Tang Ganran, Director of the Marketing Company, attended the signing ceremony. Li Bo and Tang Ganran signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.

According to the agreement, both parties will deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership in the field of new energy based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation, with a focus on promoting investment, construction, and operation of photovoltaic power generation projects to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages.

Prior to the signing ceremony, both parties held talks to further discuss enhancing cooperation, exchanges, and implementing the agreement's contents.

During the talks, Dai Qinghua welcomed the delegation led by Wang Lijun and introduced the latest developments of SANY Group and SANY Silicon Energy's operations. He expressed that SANY Silicon Energy's industrial segments are highly relevant to Huaneng Renewables' business, and he hoped that both parties would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation to jointly promote project implementation, facilitate low-carbon, green, and clean economic and social development, and promote industrial transformation and upgrading, seeking common development.

Wang Lijun pointed out that SANY Group is an important strategic partner of China Huaneng, and both parties maintain good cooperative relations. As the photovoltaic industry division directly under SANY Group, SANY Silicon Energy is expected to leverage their respective leading advantages in their industries to deepen cooperation in the photovoltaic field, accelerate the construction of a safe, efficient, green, and low-carbon modern energy system, jointly promote high-quality development of the energy industry, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

In response to the national "dual carbon" strategy and relying on SANY Group's experience in equipment manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing, SANY Group has comprehensively deployed the green energy industry (wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, and some core equipment technologies) and ventured into the photovoltaic industry in 2022, establishing SANY Silicon Energy.
