SANY Silicon Energy's 260MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in Pinglu District, Shuozhou Officially Commences Construction!

Recently, the commencement ceremony for SANY Silicon Energy's 260MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, was held. Hao Yun, Secretary of the Pinglu District Party Committee, announced the start of the project, while Yuan Dongmei, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Chief, Li Bin, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, and other district leaders, as well as Dai Qinghua, Director of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Silicon Energy, and Huang Bin, General Manager of SANY Green Energy Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony.

The project is provided with comprehensive, one-stop services by the SANY Silicon Energy team, covering the entire process from engineering design, equipment procurement, construction, to commissioning and operation. Notably, the project employs SANY Silicon Energy's self-produced 660Wp monocrystalline silicon bifacial cell modules, which will ensure stable operation and efficient power generation.

During the ceremony, Huang Bin solemnly committed that SANY Silicon Energy will continue to deepen its industrial strategic layout in Shuozhou City, relying on the technological advantages and industrial experience of SANY Group, to fully promote the construction of the project and strive to make Shuozhou City a high-tech benchmark for the silicon core industry in central and western China. At the same time, the company will actively cooperate with local industries to jointly promote talent cultivation and industrial upgrading, ushering in a new chapter of cooperation between enterprises and localities.

Xu Zhen, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and Deputy District Chief, highly praised the photovoltaic power generation project of SANY Silicon Energy, especially for its response to the call of the District Committee and District Government for transformation and high-quality development by implementing a vertically integrated photovoltaic project, making significant contributions to labor employment and economic transformation. Subsequently, Secretary Hao Yun, District Chief Yuan Dongmei, Deputy Secretary Li Bin, Chairman Dai Qinghua, and General Manager Huang Bin jointly stepped forward to solemnly press the start-up ball, announcing the official commencement of SANY Silicon Energy's 260MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in Pinglu District, Shuozhou.

It is reported that the project is located in the area of Xishuijie Township, Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, covering an area of approximately 7,181 acres with convenient transportation and advantageous geographical location. The project adopts a design scheme of "block-based power generation and centralized grid connection," planning to construct 68 sub-arrays and a supporting 220kV step-up substation. The project is expected to be completed by October 30, 2024, at which time it will generate approximately 396,868,200 kWh of electricity annually, saving 119,700 tons of standard coal, and playing a significant role in reducing environmental pollution and protecting the ecological environment.
