Following the successful implementation and grid connection of Sany Silicon Energy's Chowa Mine Photovoltaic-Energy Storage Microgrid Power Generation Project in Zambia, on August 25th, the company's first overseas battery swap station project - the "Sany Silicon Energy Chowa Mine Battery Swap Station Project in Zambia" - officially commenced construction with a grand ceremony at the Chowa Mine. This project represents a crucial move by Sany Silicon Energy to deepen its overseas strategic layout and is expected to create new opportunities for the development of local related industries.

This project leverages the advanced microgrid integrated energy system, which integrates photovoltaic power, energy storage, and diesel generation, already established in the mining area. It aims to provide standardized and convenient battery swap services for the mining vehicle and construction machinery markets. Not only will the project offer more stable and efficient power support for mining operations, effectively increasing the proportion of clean energy consumption, but it also serves as a key initiative in building the Chowa "Green Mine" demonstration base in Zambia.

The battery swap station will be located in the core production area of the Chowa Mine. Upon completion, it will be able to meet the battery swap needs of 30 electric heavy-duty trucks. This will not only significantly reduce the operational costs for mine owners but also markedly decrease pollution emissions, driving the transformation of mine transportation towards a "green and low-carbon" model, and striving to create a model for comprehensive overseas green mine projects.

During the project preparation phase, Sany Silicon Energy fully demonstrated the "Sany Speed." After signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on July 25th, 2025, the company swiftly assembled a cross-departmental and international team. Under the high-level coordination, a flexible procurement model was adopted, primarily relying on domestic procurement, with sporadic urgent items purchased locally and internal allocations within overseas projects. On August 15th, the first batch of core equipment was shipped from multiple locations in China, and 10 professional personnel arrived at the site. From signing the agreement to commencing construction, it took only 30 days, with an expected commissioning date of October 30th. The efficient progress showcases the company's outstanding management capabilities and professional international image, earning high praise locally.

The smooth commencement of this project marks a significant step forward in Sany Silicon Energy's overseas expansion and holds milestone significance. In the future, the Chowa Mine will become a demonstration base for the company's overseas business, consolidating its international competitive edge, injecting new impetus into local economic prosperity and social development, and jointly creating a better future.
