Dai Qinghua Awarded the Title of "Model Worker of Shanxi Province"!

Recently, the Celebration of the International Labor Day and the Commendation Conference for Model Workers, Advanced Workers, and Model Collectives in Shanxi Province was held grandly at the Taiyuan Workers' Cultural Palace. A total of 503 model workers, 194 advanced workers, and 200 representatives of model collectives from various fronts within the province were honored. Dai Qinghua, Director of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Silicon Energy, was awarded the title of "Model Worker of Shanxi Province."

The "Model Worker of Shanxi Province" title is conferred by the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and the Shanxi Provincial People's Government, aiming to recognize outstanding achievements, set examples, unite hearts and minds, and inspire the people of the province to devote themselves to the fiery practice of high-quality development and modernization through diligent, honest, and creative labor.

Dai Qinghua is a researcher-level senior engineer, a national science and technology evaluation expert, and enjoys a special government allowance from the State Council. He has won numerous honors, including the first "National Low-Carbon Economy Outstanding Contribution Award," China Standardization Outstanding Person, the 15th "China Patent Excellence Award," Jiangsu Province's High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Award, "Outstanding Young and Middle-Aged Expert with Contributions" in Jiangsu Province, the first batch of "Science and Technology Entrepreneur Cultivation Program" cultivation target in Jiangsu Province, the Second Prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of Jiangsu Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Hunan Province May 1st Labor Medal.

Since venturing into the photovoltaic industry in 2022, Dai Qinghua has led his team from scratch, successfully establishing a vertically integrated pilot line for crystal pulling, slicing, battery production, and module assembly. In 2023, SANY Silicon Energy comprehensively laid out its operations in Shuozhou, with the first phase of the 5GW monocrystalline silicon project taking just 140 days from negotiation to production, achieving "cosmic speed" and becoming the first large-scale photovoltaic monocrystalline silicon project in Shanxi Province. Subsequently, the second-phase large-size ultra-thin monocrystalline silicon wafer project and the distributed photovoltaic power generation project for the entire Pinglu District were successfully signed, once again breaking the record for project implementation speed.

The successful implementation of SANY's Shuozhou project has not only established a production base for the entire photovoltaic product chain, accelerating SANY's new energy industry development, but also injected strong momentum into Shuozhou's transformation from a traditional coal-fired power base to a new-type green integrated energy base.

The award of the "Model Worker of Shanxi Province" title is a high recognition of Dai Qinghua and SANY Silicon Energy's contributions by the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.
