Recently, Dr. Chen Jia, Deputy General Manager of Sany Group, along with a delegation led by Mr. Ng Soon Kai, Executive Chairman of Interra Resources Limited in Singapore, visited Indonesian cooperatives and held talks with Minister Ferry Juliantono. The three parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the Indonesian government's recently proposed "100GW Solar Power Plant Construction Plan" and the inclusive development of renewable energy, reaching broad consensus.

During the meeting, Dr. Chen Jia provided Minister Ferry with a detailed introduction to Sany Group's "globalization, digitalization, and low-carbonization" strategies, its overall business layout, and the technological advantages and solutions of Sany Silicon Energy in areas such as the photovoltaic industry chain, photovoltaic-energy storage integrated machines, and microgrid systems. He particularly highlighted the solar photovoltaic power supply project plan designed specifically for rural areas in Indonesia, which received high praise and recognition from Minister Ferry.

Minister Ferry stated during the talks that Indonesia is rich in solar energy resources and that cooperatives, as grassroots socio-economic organizations, can play a crucial role in promoting the popularization and management of clean energy. He emphasized that the involvement of cooperatives will contribute to achieving inclusive management and equitable distribution of renewable energy while creating new opportunities for economic development in rural areas.

This talk holds significant policy implications. Indonesian Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia recently publicly announced that the government plans to construct solar power stations with a total capacity of 100GW across 80,000 villages nationwide. The total investment for this project is estimated to be around USD 100 billion, equivalent to Indonesia's energy subsidy expenditure over four years. This plan is a clear directive from the newly appointed President Prabowo Subianto, aiming to expand electricity coverage across villages and promote the development of new and renewable energy sources.

"We welcome Sany Silicon Energy's support for the Indonesian cooperative system in promoting the popularization of renewable energy in rural areas and bringing affordable and sustainable clean energy to more communities," Minister Ferry posted on his personal Instagram account, demonstrating the high expectations of Indonesian society for renewable energy cooperation.

This meeting was attended by, among others, Vidya Ishwara, Special Assistant to the Minister of Cooperatives of Indonesia. Both sides agreed that there is immense potential for future cooperation in areas such as solar photovoltaic power generation, photovoltaic-energy storage integrated equipment, and microgrid construction, with the prospect of jointly contributing to Indonesia's energy structure transformation and sustainable rural development.

As an important layout of Sany Group in the new energy sector, Sany Silicon Energy is committed to providing efficient and reliable clean energy solutions to customers worldwide. This exchange with the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives marks a solid step forward for Sany Silicon Energy in expanding its presence in the Southeast Asian market and engaging in localized cooperation.
