Following the successful implementation and grid connection of its first overseas project in Africa—the "Microgrid Project for a Zambian Copper Mining Enterprise"—its second overseas endeavor, the "Photovoltaic-Energy Storage Microgrid Power Generation Project at Chowa Mine in Zambia by Sany Silicon," officially kicked off in the Chilundu region of Zambia on March 8, 2025.

Guided by the "Sany Speed," Sany Silicon's Green Energy Company efficiently advanced the photovoltaic-energy storage microgrid power generation project at Chowa Mine in Zambia. Since formally signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with local partners on January 15, 2025, the company swiftly responded by assembling a cross-departmental, international elite preparation team. Under the meticulous planning and coordination of high-level leaders, including Sany Silicon's Chairman Dai Qinghua, the project adopted a flexible strategy that prioritized domestic procurement while incorporating local emergency purchases and internal allocations from overseas projects. On February 18, the first batch of photovoltaic modules and supports was successfully shipped, followed by the arrival of core equipment from various domestic supply bases at the project site in batches. By March 8, a pioneer team of 10 professional construction personnel had smoothly arrived in Zambia, marking the official commencement of the project's construction phase. From the signing of the agreement to the project's initiation, Sany Silicon accomplished this feat in just 53 days, demonstrating the company's exceptional project management capabilities and earning high praise from local partners.
